| Ferrets make wonderful pets. They are extremely playful, active, curious and good natured and love companionship but they do require lots of attention. Male ferrets are called hobs and females are called jills. Baby ferrets are called kits. A Ferret's body length can range from 9 -15 inches and their body weight is usually 0.5 kg - 2 kg, females tend to smaller than males. Life Span for a ferret is 5-8 years. Ferrets learn quickly and can be trained with cues such as bells and whistles. Most Ferrets love to go on walks and can be adapted to a harness and a leash. |
